About
ICICI Bank Sales Academy:
Certification in Retail Banking
Sales Management is a four week residential program designed to impart
training and develop the sales officers joining the bank. The training
program is a blend of classroom instruction, e-learning and simulators. The
training faculty comprises experienced professionals in the field of finance
and sales.
The trainees completing their
classroom training then undergo a two month on-the-job-training at their
respective branch locations at the grade of Junior Officer Trainee.
Post the successful completion
of the two month on-the-job-training, the trainees are absorbed in the role
of Sales Officers in
the grade of Junior Officer. The starting salary will be
in the range of 1.60 lakhs per annum (Class C & D cities) to Rs.1.85
lakhs per annum (Class A & B cities).
The course fee of Rs.30,000
(Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) is paid upfront by ICICI Bank on behalf of the
trainee. Only once the trainee is absorbed in the grade of Junior Officer is
when the training fee is recovered through monthly deductions of Rs.1000 for
a period of only 24 months.
Since ICICI Bank is making
substantial investment in training, lodging and others, the candidates are
expected to execute an indemnity bond of Rs.30,000 for a period of 2 years
with the bank and submit their original documents as collateral.
